So I just got the droid x today, but for some reason every time I go on the android market,
it says "A network error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen."
I did click retry by the way..
What am I supposed to do? I made sure I had the latest software update.
I’m new to this so some detailed explanation would be great.
It’s an easy 10 points for you if it does work….
Ok. First MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A NETWORK CONNECTION. Try loading a page on the browser. Sometimes in android the network can drop even though the phone still displays a 3g signal. If you are using wifi, turn it off and use 3g to make sure the wifi isnt the problem.
heres what to do
1. Turn off the phone, take out the battery for a few seconds, put it back in and turn it back on. This fixes a lot of sh*t on android phones.
2. Sometimes since verizon is cdma something messes up on there end with your account, call them and they might be able to reset something.
