Take Facebook for example... with so many millions of people every day going on that site, and most having it open all day long the potential to earn billions from this is so real. If you cannot make money from a good program like Adsense so far than this means you likely don't have enough visitors. Concentrate on getting the site seen before you even consider making any money on it.
