I am very low on cash, and I would like to find a way of marketing my business in my area in a very professional and different way. My goal is to help small business penetrate in big companies and sell their products. I have never done cold calls but i am more than willing to learn. I have so far gathered 800 numbers and emails and i am ready to start but dont know how????

You need alot of confidence, and professional dress sense , to enter a big company and get audience, make a phone call to first book an appointment with the person in charge of this in the big company, (Don’t worry if you do not have a name of the person) Just say my name is so so and i’ll like to see so so , at time would be fixed for you, then you can introduce your cleints (the small businees)

hope this helps

I currently run a small internet marketing blog and I have an email autoresponder with which I offer a free 5 day mini course on my subject matter.

The subject matter is: Internet Marketing and making money online.

How would you suggest I promote the actual opting in to my email list to build a list of prospects etc.

The best way to sign people up and keep them coming is useful, original content that is always fresh and updated. In fact, if you’re talking about making money online, I’d hint at ways that you could do it which are easy or at the very least intriguing.

Since you’re touting yourself as a subject matter expert, you need to demonstrate that what you have to say is valuable and they can benefit from it. Success stories are good for this and will improve your chances that they will stay tuned.

Other ways to build opt-ins are referrals (ask subscribers to refer a friend), an incentive of some kind, purchase an email list (this is kind of a gray area), or find a partner who might already have a decent list and sponsor them.

Also, since you run a blog, are you fully syndicated? There’s a lot of chatter out there and at the very least you should participate in boosting your blog’s reputation.

I have two websites that I just started to make money on from doing affiliate marketing and I have heard that buying an opt in email list from a reputable company is the best way to start making even more money and getting traffic. For anybody who has experience with this already, do you recommend this? Thanks!

I have been marketing online for over a year now after I came across a website for IM expert Matt Bacak – www.mattbacak.com. I was intrigued that I could make money online and so I followed his advice and made my own websites and did everything that he recommended. One of the things that I learned is that you have to sell to people who are actually interested in your product.

Many of the times when you buy an opt in email list, even one in your topic area, if people did not sign up for it, they are going to delete it or have it automatically sent to their spam folder. The way to work an opt in email list is to have people sign up for your own email list through your website.

You should have a sign up on your home page such as in one of the sidebars or at the end of your articles or posts. You could write, " To learn more, join our newsletter list," or something like that. This way, you know people are interested in your site and products and want to receive info from you.

To build traffic to a new site, you have to start out with the basics as this is the only way to go. Things such as article marketing, forum posting, and good SEO go a long way. Try to build up as many good backlinks as possible to get your ranking higher and put your name out there more.

It is not easy to start a new website and get traffic as it does take work. Like I mentioned, I have been doing this (part-time) for over a year, and probably about 4 or 5 months ago is when I really started seeing my efforts pay off. In fact, if I could make 5 more websites that generate the same income that I am making off the 8 I already have, I could probably quit my day job if I wanted!

I have had my website for almost a year now and my list building techniques stink. I know that having a targeted email list is the best way to be able to sell your products and make money, but I just can’t seem to get it right. Right now I only have about 75 names on my email list and I only see about a .25% conversion with the emails that I send out, so I am really not making that much money. Can someone point me in the right direction for a list building technique that has worked for them? Oh yea, my website sells natural beauty products if that helps any.

I was having the same problem as you until I read Matt Bacak’s "Powerful Promoting Tips" as well as his "Internet Marketing Dirt" which is a monthly newsletter that he sends out. It really helped me out and increased by sales by about 30%. I went from having about 50 people on my email list (for a site that was 6 months old) and now my site is about 15 months old and I have about 500 people on my email list and see a conversion of about 3% for that list.

I have heard that a conversion rate over 3% is pretty good. The way that I see it 3% of 500 is 15, so if 15 people off the list buy my product that is valued at $30 then I just made $450 off a simple email that took me 15-20 minutes to write and send. Check out www.mattbacak.com for more info on what helped me make more money with list building. He has tons of ideas and they are strategies that he has actually used so he knows that they bring results. They did for me.

can print out the person’s ISP address, the date and times they illegally entered your computer and the files they looked at, and what emails they monitored, or deleted from your computer? A complete printout that can be used in a civil lawsuit as proof that the ISP user did this?

Thanks

For that type of information, the best place to start is your own PC. If you have a firewall with logging, such as ZoneAlarm or Comodo, and you make periodic backups of the logs, it will show the IP address of inbound connections that weren’t blocked. Depending on the firewall, it would also show what programs were sending data out during the same timeframe. The firewall will not show what files were accessed, but if you search your PC for modified files and can correlate the modifications with the activity logged in your personal firewall, that could be the basis for a case to get a subpoena of an ISP’s records.

I am trying to send out my first marketing campaign with one of those cool images using a gif file to an email list (of my current customer). I just dont want them to open an attachment I want the image to display on their email message. HELPPPP.

Lots of times the email toolbar thing (where you can change the size and color of font and stuff) will have an icon that allows you to insert a picture.

If you can edit your email in HTML, then put:

<img src="IMAGE URL HERE">

You have to have the image uploaded to someplace on the web, like photobucket.

Any ideas on who to contact to market my business website to homeowner’s emails? Are there companies that anyone knows who have lists of emails to market ones website in a particular state? Any advise where to start would be appreciated.
My intentions are not spamming, I am trying to find out how best to market a website effectively by getting my website address out to alot of people who are in need of a certain product/ service. Without it being spamming.

No need to spam. Here’s a list of free classified ad websites where you can promote your business at no cost.

http://www.kijiji.com (owned by eBay)
http://www.usedus.com
http://www.craigslist.com
http://www.ebosa.com

Also, go to Google and type in "classified ads" and you will get many more sites where you can post your biz info for free. Using the free online classified ad sites is like having a mini website for your products and the search engines will pick up the links which help get you higher rankings.
