5 Great Reasons To Start Blogging

Blogging is a difficult area for many people to get into. Whether they’re unfamiliar with the technology, unsure of the benefits, or simply unsure of whether it’s worth the personal investment to them, blogs can draw questions and attention from many people. While blogging certainly isn’t for everyone, there are many circumstances where starting a blog can be both a beneficial professional, financial and education experience, offering anyone the ability to promote themselves and stand out from the crowd. Here’s a quick rundown of five of the best reasons to start a blog, along with detailed reasons for each one.

#1 – When your name is out there, you can control what people see when they search for your name. Unless you’re called Joe Smith, it’s unlikely that there’s anyone else with your name that’s blogging on the same subject as you. When you control the content that’s tied to your name, you control what people see when they search for you, and in turn their impressions of you.

#2 – It gives you the opportunity to market yourself online. Without a blog, you’re just another person lost in the noise of the internet. Start a blog and you can control what people see when they research you, allow potential contacts and employers to see what you’re thinking, and advertise your skills and abilities to the entire online world.

#3 – With a blog, you can improve your writing skills and develop a voice. A lot of wannabe writers look for shortcuts to success, and the truth is that there are none. Develop a voice and you can stand out from everyone else, and market yourself on your communication skills. With the internet making everyone’s communication platform equal, those with the greatest communications skills are invariable the ones that will be given the most attention. Starting a blog gives you the chance to develop and refine these skills.

#4 – You can connect to people that share your interests and ambitions. There’s a lot of talk in social media circles of ‘connecting’. While blogs are nothing new in terms of social media, they’re ultimately one of the most important connection tools on the internet. Let people know what you’re thinking, and connect with influentials and like-minded people by sharing your thoughts, research, and opinions with them.

#5- You might just make some money. With the many advertising and monetisation options available to webmasters right now, monetising a blog to produce a small income is as easy as putting up a couple of Google adsense ads, or selling off small advertising spots to local, or subject related businesses. The most important part of this is that it’s impossible to make a loss blogging. With the free blogging software available you’ll never lose money, and even if you don’t crack a healthy profit, you’ll still develop key skills that allow you to market yourself to employers and other influential people.

Good luck in the blogging world. It’s easier than it looks to just jump straight into it, and the benefits and rewards of participating are endless and important.

Content Management for Professionals

Are you building dozens or hundreds of small, targeted niche sites? Are you spending a lot of time generating traffic for them? How about updating and maintaining them? Writing and outsourcing content over and over hoping to move up a rank or two in SERPS. Takes a lot of time and effort, doesn’t it?

And what about all those domain names you’re registering? Isn’t that a lot of fun, juggling them, renewing them and finding out you lost a few of them? And let’s not even get starting on all the hosting accounts and those issues!
Isn’t About time to STOP the INSANITY
and START building Authority Sites?

We want you to think about this – why is it that sites like About and Wikipedia consistently rank so well regardless of what is being searched on? They don’t target any specific niche topics and they don’t pay for traffic. On a smaller scale, why are forums and blogs literally STALKED by search engine bots within hours of them going live? The answer is a simple one…

“…Diverse User Experience, Contextually Relevant Information and Scale…”

User Experience – those two little words have a H U G E impact on how you rank today and even more so on how you will rank in the future. You’ve heard how “Content is King”, but the truth is, Content is just a poor cousin without a quality User Experience!

And the greater truth is that you cannot possibly build hundreds of small sites that offer the level of User Experience that large ones do. Ironically, building, deploying and maintaining Authority Sites takes far less time, effort and resources, while returning significantly higher volumes of organic traffic. And yet, many people continue to struggle with getting these tiny niche sites online…go figure!

Want To Learn How You Can Break The Cycle And Produce
One Or More PROFITABLE Authority Sites Of Your Own?

The Answer You’ve Been Looking For Can Be Found In Three Simple Words…

Building a Huge Optin Email List is a Challenge

I know many visitors to my blog end up signing up for my mailing list. The truth is that getting people to sign up for an email list is quite a challenge, and I do not blame anyone. I offer very valuable reasons to join my list, for example an ebook or an audio series. Slowly over time people see the value and join my list. In return I try to send a few informative articles and everyone once in a while a blatant sales pitch. The reality is I don’t want to bug people unless there is some value I can add to their business.

I have always been amazed at how some of the big name guru’s have amassed such huge email list, and I recently figured out how they really do it. There are two sources of gaining optin email addressed which I have never considered in the past. The first is go buy a co-generated email list from an email broker. This is a fast way to get a lot of optins for a relatively small amount of money. The problem with these services is, the qualified people first into the list brokers email service, and then you must convince these people to ultimately optin to your list. If you purchase 1,000 double optin email addresses you will only actually get a fraction of these people to sign up for your list. So this is one avenue, but there are some challenges.

The BEST system for getting a lot of optin email address is by participating in free Giveaways. This system has works best BY FAR. All you need is a product to give people as part of these giant free giveaways you see happening. The best part of this system is that the visitor comes from the main giveaway site and has to optin to your service to download the free product. The problem with this system is that you need to compete with all the other giveaways being offered. There are only so many list any one person will be willing to sign up for. My solution is to offer a very valuable product for free.
Each email address on my list generates on average about $1 per month in income. Growing my list is the best way for me to grow my business. If you are at all interested in getting involved in these giveaways you should consider the following programs that are about to launch.

There is no cost to participate, but you will be confronted with a bunch of one-time-offers, just ignore them unless they may be of value to you. Also you need to help market the giveaway as well.

Balancing Communication And Privacy Online by Gabriel Adams

Ever since social networking sites have risen in popularity, a chief concern has been the level of privacy experienced by the user. If you want to get involved with social networking, or if you have a child who spends time on a social networking site, then you should learn certain things about privacy, in order to help you maintain your ownThere have been events in the history of social networking that have tarnished its reputation, and have lead people to believe that it’s extremely easy for someone to access information on any given person. The truth is that most of these events have occurred because of indiscretion, or simply a lack of sense. If you go about the process carefully, you can make your profile safe.

When you sign up at a social networking site, you’ll be guided through the registration process, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to read through privacy policies to learn exactly how the site operates. While registering, you have many options of whether your real name will be revealed, whether people can search for you by your name, and so on. Once you’ve registered, you can look in the options for an even more extensive list. You can make your profile invisible to everyone but people you have chosen.

Besides taking advantage of the site’s privacy options, you should also think hard about what you want to put in your profile. You’re given the option to explain what school you go to, what your hobbies are, what movies you love, and so on. Think about your goals. If you want to meet new people, then these are probably worthwhile things to talk about. If you just want to keep up with old friends, then they probably know it all – in that case, it’s not worth mentioning.

So, as long as you think about why you’re on the site, avoid overdoing your profile for no reason, and take advantage of the site’s built-in privacy features, you should be able to stay safe and have a good time on the internet.
