Affiliate Marketer’s Resources Will Pay For Themselves

Whether you have been a successful affiliate marketer for a long time or entirely new to affiliate marketing, anything that will increase your traffic and income is good.  I recommend two resources that will accomplish those goals, and, if used properly, they should do far more than cover your costs for them.

MyArticleNetwork is an article distribution membership service that distributes your niche articles directly to related blogs which are hungry for content.  Within reason, you can set a limit to the number of versions of a spun article that you would like distributed.

The new version of Affiliate Classroom, the well respected educational resource developed by Anik Singal for affiliate marketers looking to learn to take their business to new levels has been revamped and will soon be released anew.  Members of the previous version reported increases in their business ranging from 11% to 40%.  I don’t know about you, but even at the low end, I’d be happy to increase my income by eleven percent any day!  Furthermore, three quarters of the members of the older version reported that they needed no other affiliate marketing resource for assistance or education.  Just think about all the savings in that one statistic.

Extra good news for affiliate marketers is that both programs have an affiliate program.  In the case of the article network, you must be a member before you can become an affiliate.  With Affiliate Classroom 2, you may not use your own affiliate link for your personal membership purchase.  That is exceptionally good news, as it does not drain any profits from your own affiliate promotions of those products.  In addition, both have two tier affiliate programs as an added incentive to drive the highest quality traffic to those sites.

I’ve written an overview of MyArticleNetwork, elsewhere.  Here I want to share with you one of the techniques that I employ to make sure that my small membership fee doesn’t have to be covered from other revenue sources.

Not long ago I wrote a review of two products for which I am an affiliate.  I prepared that article for the built-in spinner and entered it into the system.  Most of my articles are written to obtain better SEO and to directly send traffic to my own websites.  However, for this one article, I included only direct affiliate links to the vendors’ sites.  That article is very early in its paced distribution cycle and the earnings that it has generated have already covered my membership fee.  It still will be published on 200% more websites.  Plus, those articles will be out there for a long time, reaching new readers.  I have no idea how much more that article will eventually earn for me, but I know that whatever it earns from here on out is pure profit.

These two valuable aids will become self-sustaining resources that will continue to reap benefits into the foreseeable future.

Affiliate Marketing – Earning Money With Affiliate Marketing

Let me share my experience With you. How I decided to pursue affiliate marketing because I believe earning money online is not achievable. I, however, was so naive to think that make money online was actually impossible for someone like me. I did not even know how to make a website. I am not a computer techie.

Miracle happened, I would say; after reading a confession that a housewife without any internet experience can earn money online at home. I had no reason to think I could not do that. Getting started was the hardest part. But I am glad I did try; now it does not seem so hard like I thought it was.

I was testing affiliate marketing for fun. I thought it would be good if it worked, if it did not work, I would not bother to continue considering I spent nothing to start but my time. Anyway, I learnt a lot as I go; one thing, which I think, is very important to tell you is that you have to consider affiliate marketing as your real business. Doing it for fun will only demotivate you to continue. If it was not for this phrase I accidentally read, I would have given up by now. Despite many failures, I continued and I am glad I did because I make money now.

An interesting fact I just read is
In the year of 2005, it is estimated that affiliates earned over $7 billion in commissions. This is just incredible; I think my income will be included in this statistic this year.

There are three reasons why people want to earn money with affiliate marketing, the first is FREEDOM, second is FREEDOM, and so does the third, FREEDOM.

Some people want to have more time for their family by working at home. Some people want to enjoy their time travelling. Some people want to release themselves from their boring 9-5 day job. All of the reasons is represented by one word of Freedom.

I personally want to have a flexible time. Depressed after seeing my schedule will never be in my dictionary anymore.

I admit if you are learning this all by yourself. If you implement this without help from others, it would be very difficult. I am not implying that it is impossible. I have myself coached and try to call for support anytime I have problem. I recommend Wealthy Affiliate for all level of affiliate marketers; beginner, advanced as well as expert.

Two Great Affiliate Strategies

Starting an affiliate marketing career isn’t as easy as setting up websites and letting the sales roll in. As much as the myths have purported that an online income is just 10 minutes worth of work away, it isn’t completely true. However, affiliate marketing can be a lucrative and highly financially successful field for the right person, with the right strategies. Don’t fall for the hype, instead invest in wise strategies and tactics which will lead you on to massive affiliate marketing success. The first, and by far most important, step of affiliate marketing is to set up effective and convincing sales pages, devoid of any unnecessary content and rich with information and reasons for people to buy from you. The second is to support that page with high quality, remarkable content that will cause people to not just buy from you, but recommend you through the most powerful marketing channel available: word of mouth. Lets discuss the two parts in greater depth.

Firstly, a great sales page isn’t just designed to capture the readers attention. It needs to resonate with your readers, and convince them of why they should listen to you, and ultimately talk about you. Just listing out information isn’t enough. To truly success in a sales page you need to combine the information with purpose and situation. Give your readers a reason to buy your product and they may just do that. Give them pure information and they’ll end up wondering how it’s ultimately relevant to them.

Secondly, just having that sales page isn’t enough. In order to have people find you, you’ll need to promote and optimise it through whatever channels are most important and valuable to you. Search engines are one of the most important marketing mediums on the internet, and are responsible for anywhere from hundreds to millions of page views for the most successful websites. Don’t be another statistic lost in the myriad of Google pages, instead invest in your website and drive it to the top of the search results, leading to maximum exposure and sales success.

A great way to generate both marketing buzz, SEO content, and page views is through writing supporting articles for your website. With many high quality writers available online, you needn’t do this yourself, just merely hire employees to shape your affiliate marketing businesses success. Quality is truly number one in affiliate marketing, so be sure to only hire writers that can effectively project your message and represent your business. There’s nothing wrong than misrepresenting your business by hiring through the wrong channels — put in the time and research to supercharge your product by focusing on the few people that can provide the best services.

For affiliate marketers, this is just the beginning. The affiliate marketing world is massive and vast, made up of many people of varying success levels. Make sure you’re at the top of the pile, and never let yourself waste time on the unimportant information. MyBlogLog is an Interesting Tool

I just started playing with the MyBlogLog tool a few days ago. MyBlogLog is a Yahoo company. It basically offers webmasters a handy widget to track visitors from their network and also tracts statistic from all visitors to your blog.

You can use their tool free for 3 day and then if you like the statistics you can purchase an ongoing package. These stats are pretty useful since it shows page views, traffic sources and click outs. From this it is easy to see what is happening with your traffic. A few days ago I did a post on QuickBooks online, and I included some affiliate links to their service. MyBlogLog clearly showed me how many times someone click on my affiliate link…thanks folks :)

One thing that did bother me is that it showed MORE clicks on Adsense ads than I received credit for. I am concerned that I am not getting credit for all the traffic I send to Adsense, or does this mean MyBlogLog does not accurately track this traffic. Either way I see the value of using MyBlogLog for just this purpose.

MyBlogLog widgets and social networking attribute are nice and I have added new readers as a result. You may want to look into using MyBlogLog or at least trailing it for a few days, just to see how it works, and the value of the stats package.

Why is Bounce Rate So Important

Google seems to love giving webmasters things to focus on that are seemingly meaningless but people obsess on them anyway. A perfect example is Pagerank. There is so much emphasis of attaining Pagerank many webmasters miss the point. If your content is good and you have structured it with the proper format and tags, you will get traffic. Natural organic search engine traffic! So the drive for Pagerank causes webmasters to purchase links and make poor decisions about link partners. Quantity and speed seem important when the real issue is quality and relevance. So I was wondering can the same thing be said about webmasters obsession with their “Bounce Rate”.

Based on this question I did some research looking at Google Analytics, vs. the statistic from Cpanel and also Enquisite Search Analysis. Big mistake! I am more confused than ever. The stats from Google Analytics did not compare to Enquisite’s AT ALL, not even close. Even worse none of this reconciled to Cpanels statistic. After going through the log I decided that Enquisite’s stats were more accurate than Google Analytics in tracking SE traffic and its sources. But my main question is why is everyone so concerned about bounce rate.

Bounce Rate is the percentage of visitors that stay at your site less than 30 seconds. Someone finds your site, NOTHING interesting so they move on. I was using Enquisite to validate Google Analytics and I was not able to do that. Analytics measure bounce rate and Enquisite does not. Basically the metrics are not verifiable in my estimate to make a purely objective observation, so we have to go another route, conversions.

My thought is the higher the bounce rate the lower the conversion rate. Looking purely at Analytics Bounce rate, which I do not trust, and website conversion which are a fact, there is a correlation between conversions and bounce rate. The lower the bounce rate, the higher the conversion rate. Other correlations include the more page visits the higher the conversions, and the more return visitors the higher the conversions. Search engine traffic bounces at a lower rate than social bookmarking traffic as well. Sales come from search engines not bookmarks sites. SEO has a bright future indeed.

But here is the most important conclusion to keep in mind….and it is the same conclusion I came to about Pagerank. The higher the quality of content, the longer the visitor hangs around, the more they read and the more they buy. There is no scamming the system. Quality unique compelling content is the KING. I guess the SEO Copywriters have a bright future as well.
