Solid Traffic Tips That Work For IM Marketers
It’s not absolutely necessary to have a website to make money, but if you choose to have one it needs to be well optimized for marketing. Naturally, you’ll need to make it possible for people to find it. The flood and hordes of people killing themselves to get to your site is called: Traffic. Your site needs to be able to convert, so of course the higher your traffic numbers, the better off you are in terms of ability to produce some sales. The big goal here is to get as much traffic as possible so you can make as much cash as possible. So now we’ll go into how you can increase those traffic numbers to your site.
One strategy you can use is blog commenting; it’s best to leave comments on blogs related to your niche. Don’t just leave any kind of comment. Don’t do what some people do, and leave “nice blog” type comments. Leaving this kind of comment is usually considered spamming. If you want to do this right, you have to actually look over the blog and make a comment that contributes to the discussion. Doing this will make you a valued participant in the discussion. You can also get more traffic this way, as people who read your comment may then click on your link to see your site. You might even be granted some prime real estate in the blog author’s blogroll!
So, ok… you can produce articles in your market and submit to directories and other places. And do not forget your link(s) in the article bio box at the bottom of the article. You can submit to as many directories as you like. But directories can be picky, so be careful about submitting the exact same article everywhere. If you’re not careful about this you may find yourself getting banned from some directories. But, if you write a handful of new articles every week and use a good content spinning program, you’ll get around this problem. As you keep doing this, your name will become recognizable as will your website, and your traffic numbers will reflect this.
Look around, find and contact the publishers of good quality newsletters, or ezines, in your market topic. Ask the newsletter creators if you might submit an article or two to the newsletter. You’re not doing this for direct payment, you’re doing it for exposure of your name and your website to the audience. Many newsletter authors will happily let you advertise your products if your content is well written and is well received by the newsletter readers. You’ll never know unless you try, and it may lead to something really good.
Generating traffic to your site isn’t all that hard, and there are so many ways to do it. But generally speaking, it’s usually a never-ending process. Unless you outsource, building backlinks and working on traffic should be attended to each day. There are a lot of different ways to do this so, the good news is, traffic generation will probably never be boring! After all-what’s an hour or so a day if it brings in hundreds of dollars in sales?
