Conversion Marketing–5 Tips for Making Your Website More Effective

Conversion marketing is the art and science of making the most of your website visitor’s experience on your website. When you use conversion marketing strategies you will find ways to get better results from the traffic you are already getting to your website.

Most people will visit your website only once, and most will not make a purchase on their first visit. If you can find a way to encourage more of your visitors to stay on your page longer, and interact with your content, your chances are better that they will return and eventually make a purchase.

In order to improve your website’s conversion rate you’ve got to know what it is today. There are a few ways to measure your website’s conversion rate. You can multiply the number of sales by the number of visitors and then multiply that by 100 and you’ll get your base conversion rate. There are some changes that you can make to your site that will result in a significant improvement to your conversion rate.

Let’s look at five tips that you can implement to make your website more effective:

1. Keep Testing

Use a website analytics tool such as Google Analytics to test your website’s efficiency. Which pages have the highest bounce rate? Are visitors abandoning your forms? Is your website working properly in all of the various browsers?

Then you can test other things such as landing page copy, buttons, images, etc. Virtually every element that the user interacts with on your site will have an impact on conversions.

2. Optimize your copy

Content is King. If your visitors are not responding as well to your copy as they could be, then you are losing money. Test your copy and make changes accordingly.

3.  Niche it down

Personalize your website content to appeal to your audience. Every market segment has different preferences. Show that you know what makes your prospective and current customers tick, by offering content that speaks their unique language.

4. Keep it clean, easy to find & error free

Make it a regular practice to clean up broken links on your site, provide site maps and intuitive navigation schemes, and search capabilities to make it easy on your visitors to find exactly what they need in as few clicks as possible.

5. Deliver content in flexible formats

Given the multi-media capabilities of the web you have the option of presenting your content in ways that your audience wants to consume it. Do they prefer video? Maybe they would rather listen to an audio than pore over an eBook. You might look into whether or not a mobile app would be helpful to your market.

As I said in the beginning of this article, never stop testing every possible element of your website. If you can find better ways to reach the visitors you already have and convert them at an even higher rate, your profits will increase without spending an additional dime on advertising.

Article Marketing Tips: 5 Strategies for Crafting a Compelling Resource Box

Article marketing has been around almost since the beginning when Al Gore first invented the Internet and it’s still a powerful free method for attracting targeted traffic building relative back links and establishing yourself as an expert thought leader in your niche.

If we were to take a step back and deconstruct an article, examining each element and the roles they play in the process, the resource box stands out as an essential element in constructing an effective article. Often overlooked and misused, the resource box for some article writers seems to be the place where they can grab their 30 seconds of fame. Those who don’t know better use this space to talk about themselves and how much they know about their topic.  But the primary purpose of the resource box is to get the reader who has just read your article to take the next step and click on the link to your website. Every word in the resource box needs to be focused on enticing and encouraging your reader to click on your link.

Incorporate these five resource box strategies in your articles and watch your conversion rates increase:

1. Make the resource box another paragraph that flows seamlessly from the previous one.

The resource box should not interrupt the flow of the article. When the resource box appears to be just a natural extension of the article readers are more likely to just continue reading and then rather than being stopped by a change in the flow of the article.

2. Use keywords as anchor text and include a full URL

Using an anchor text link (anchor text is a visible hyperlinked text) in addition to the full URL for your website will help boost your website’s search engine rankings for hose keywords. It also gives readers a clue about what they will find when they follow that link.

3. Invite readers to click on the link and tell them what they will gain by doing so

the copy in the resource box should invite readers to click on the link and then tell them what they will find or whether they will gain by clicking on the link. Offer a free offer the prospect of a free download or some other form of enticements that will make it worth it for them to go to the trouble of following your link from the article directory to your website. Here is where you let them know what’s in it for them when they click on your link.

4. Use the power of curiosity to get them to click on the link

Curiosity is a powerful motivator. Offer a tease that will get readers to click on the link to discover the answer. Fill  them with anticipation by a revealing just enough detail to get them to click on the link.

5. Create a sense of urgency

Another effective way to get readers to click through to your website is to create a sense of urgency. Explain that there is a limited time offer or a limited quantity of a Bonus product available on your website.

Bonus tip: Always include a compelling call to action in your resource box.  A great way to get even better results from your article marketing efforts is to automate them. Not Getting Enough Bang from Your Article Marketing? Try These 5 SEO Tips for Optimizing Your Articles

A buddy of mine who knows that I get a ton of traffic from article marketing pulled me aside and asked me to share some tips for how he could make his article marketing suck a bit less. So, I figured I’ll share with you what I told him.

1. Do keyword research to find the best long tail keywords

Use the free Google keyword tool and find those long tail keyword phrases to use as your primary keywords. Then find two or three more secondary keywords to add some variety to your articles. It makes no sense to bore the crap out of our readers by repeating the same phrase over and over and it looks to the search engines like stuffing—because it is.

2. Write clear, concise valuable content

If you want good conversion for your articles you’ve got to give people the information they are searching for. Write a compelling title that forces them to read the article. The title should make an appealing promise that the content of the article clearly delivers. How to articles with step by step instructions should not have any useless junk added. Tell them what they need to do and then stop.

3. Format your articles

OK, so this one is more for the human readers than for the search engines, but here’s the thing. If the people who are reading it like it enough they will share it which will give you more links, which will nudge you up in the search engines.

  • Keep your sentences short.
  • Use bullets and numbered lists.
  • Make sure there is enough white space to make it easy on the eyes.

When people read online they scan with their eyes until something catches their attention stopping them to grab that tidbit and then back to scanning they go. Format your article so they find useful nuggets when they scan.

4. Distribute the keywords throughout the article.

Use the primary keyword in the title, and in the first and last paragraph. Sprinkle in those secondary keywords throughout the body of the article where they make the most sense.

5. Use a keyword for the anchor text in the resource box.

The resource box is a golden piece of real estate in your article. Its mission is to grab the reader’s attention and get them to click on the link back to your website. Using the keyword for the anchor text link is a great little SEO strategy.

What? Five tips wasn’t enough? How about this bonus tip: Write a ton of articles. If you think that you’re going to get fast results from just a few articles here and there you’re wrong. You’ve got to get up of that couch, roll up those sleeves, and start cranking out a bunch of articles on your topic. Put it on your calendar and write article and submit them to directories every day or at least every week. Before you know it your results will start racking up and you’ll see your search engine rankings improve and you may even begin to see your articles appearing near the top of the SERPS.

Here’s another free tip: Automate your article marketing. Visit, http://mcreasite.com/ArtMarkRobot, today and discover how to generate a ton of traffic and backlinks at the push of a button.

Does Article Marketing Still Work? 5 Powerful Tips to Use Article Demon Boost Traffic from Your Articles

Those who are asking if article marketing still works probably aren’t using this still powerful traffic generation method to attract lots of targeted visitors to your site while also boosting your SEO through all of the backlinks. The Internet world changes so quickly and you’ve got to learn to change and adapt to it or you will never survive with online marketing. Article Demon is a tool that can help you make the most of your article marketing efforts.  So, yes, article marketing does still work amazingly well. Would you actually be reading this article if it weren’t working?

So, let’s stop talking about is and get right into the details of how you can use article marketing to generate targeted traffic for your website.

1. Write compelling titles

The title is the headline and it must grab the reader’s attention and entice them to read further. It’s the title that will cause your reader to click on it to read the whole article. Take the time to craft a compelling title. Use your keywords as early on as possible, make it clear and specific. Clarity always trumps cleverness.

2. Go for Quantity

Article marketing works best when you’ve got a large number of articles out there working for you. You can’t say it’s not working for you if you’ve only got five or six articles out there. Aim to get 100 articles or more and build from there. Article Demon is a tool that will help you exceed those goals and save a ton of time over trying to do this all manually.

3. Don’t sacrifice Quality

Think of your article as an appetizer designed to whet the appetite of your reader for the main course, which can be found on your website. Offer them the same quality they will come to expect when they arrive on your site. If you don’t satisfy what they are looking for in your articles, they will have no motivation to click on your link. Write interesting, useful, valuable, compelling articles but always leave them wanting more. Let them find more at your website.

4. Consistency

You’ve got to commit yourself to a consistent schedule of writing and submitting your articles to the top article directories. Set a goal to submit a specific number each week. Put this goal on your calendar where you can see it daily. Here’s a no-fail tip: Set a recurring reminder on your phone to write and submit articles. Before you know it you will have established a new, lucrative habit. When you have a tool like Article Demon it makes the article submission process simple and easy.

5. Focus on the Resource Box

Once you’ve written a compelling headline that draws your readers in and whets their appetites, and you’ve given them a taste of your awesomeness with the valuable content in your article, the final step is to close the deal by enticing them to click that link and visit your website. But here’s the thing. The resource box is not your little opportunity to shine. It’s not about you. Readers don’t really care about you. What they want is to get the answers to their questions in as few clicks as possible. Don’t stand in the way of the solution you are offering. Write a compelling resource box that would make them feel foolish if they didn’t click on your link.

A bonus tip: Automate your article marketing efforts. What’s the best way? Visit, http://mcreasite.com/ArticleDemon, and find out about how the Article Demon can save you time and effort and explode your article marketing results today.

Tips on Planning a Smooth-sailing Internet Marketing Seminar

6 Quick Tips on Planning a Smooth-Sailing Internet Marketing Seminar

Planning for any event is a long and complicated process so you need to be organized and focused if you wish your plans to turn out beautifully. Here’s what you can do to formulate a detailed and fool-proof Internet marketing seminar plan.

Make a list of all your ideas.

Have a notebook with you everywhere you go and use it every time an idea for the Internet marketing seminar occurs. You may not know where and how it’s going to fit in with the rest of your plans right now, but who knows how it could be of use in the future? What’s important is to list it all down and have it ready for plucking whenever the need arises.

Figure out a way to make your topic interesting and valuable at the same time.

It’s a given that you’re discussing a topic you’re well-versed at for your Internet marketing seminar. But it’s not enough to have the knowledge. You need to figure out a way to make the topic appeal to and applicable for your audience. People won’t pay good money to hear you speak if you’re only going to entertain and not help them or vice versa.

Know your target market.

Who do you think will be most likely interested in signing up for your Internet marketing seminar? These People make up your target market and you need to know as much as you can about them. How they think and feel will greatly affect the success of your Internet marketing seminar so knowing such things should be immediately considered when you’re making plans.

If your target market is composed of mothers with home-based jobs, for more detail go to:www.tube-traffic.com.On do you think this would affect your choices with the regard to venue, style and pace of discussion, and advertisements?

Hire and rent who and what you need.

When it’s time for the big day, you can’t be bothered by every little detail of your seminar. You’ll be too busy talking and interacting with the audience to have to worry about delayed delivery of refreshments or problems with the sound system.

To ensure the success of your Internet marketing seminar, don’t skimp on hiring personnel and renting services. Get a second-in-command so that people would approach him and not you when things go wrong on the big day. Outsource what you can. If the sound system in your preferred venue is unsuitable, rent your own! Delegate as much as you can but don’t forget to consider the resulting expenses when it’s time to determine the ticket price for your seminar.

Learn how to work with estimates.

How many people do you think will pre-order tickets for your Internet marketing seminar? How many people do you think will buy tickets on the day itself? How many people can your venue accommodate? How much do you think you’re going to spend for initial costs? You need to learn how to work with estimates when planning for your Internet marketing seminar. You need to get used to making decisions without being in complete possession of facts. If you can’t do this then you’ll find yourself unable to make even the smallest decision during the planning stages.

Have a back-up plan.

Last but certainly not the least is the need for a back-up plan. You can also call it the proverbial Plan B or a contingency plan. Whatever you call it, the essential definition remains the same: it’s what you rely on when your initial plans don’t turn out the way they’re supposed to. Back-up plans must be just as detailed as your first and official plan. A back-up plan can, for instance, save the day if it rains and you have an outdoor venue. Back-up plans may never see the light of the day, but that doesn’t matter. What’s important is being prepared for any eventuality.
