Working Jobs from Home: How to Not Get Scammed

When you are looking for working jobs from home online you must be careful because there are unscrupulous marketers out there who see “newbies,” coming and take advantage of their lack of knowledge and experience. But there are plenty of working jobs from home opportunities that are not necessarily scams per say, however, they may not be suitable for those who are just starting out.

The best way to not get scammed when you are looking for a way to work from home online is to arm yourself with knowledge and information first so that you know exactly what you are looking for. When you are searching in a purposeful way with a specific goal in mind, you are less likely to fall for those hyped-up sales pitches that go on page after page using psychological triggers to pull on your emotions and before you know it you’re typing in your credit card information.

Decide on what kind of work from home jobs you want to do

Each of us has unique skills, abilities, passions and preferences. You know deep inside what kind of work you enjoy and what kinds of tasks you’d rather not do. Take a look at the kind of work available and begin to decide on what kind of work you want to do. You might even start compiling a list of your preferences and of the things you know at the outset that you just don’t want to get involved in.

Begin your search for online jobs

Pay close attention to the descriptions when you are beginning your online job search and keep your list of preferences close by. Look for work that meets your needs and that involves doing work that you will enjoy or at least not hate. Keep good notes about what you find in your search.

Do your research on the various careers working from home

Consult your notes that you made earlier and begin asking around about the companies or programs that you found. For example, let’s say that you’re seeing a lot about doing paid surveys, but you want to speak to some people who are actually doing this work and getting paid. Find some forums on the topic and start asking questions. Look for product reviews, but try to find reviews that have not been written by someone who is also selling the product.

Tips for avoiding getting scammed online:

  • Read and understand exactly what you are buying

  • Avoid buying anything on impulse. Take the time to think through your decision before you make your final decision.

  • Does it sound too good to be true? Don’t let greed cloud your judgment.

  • Talk to others and get reviews from others who have experience with the company you are considering working with.

  • Be aware of identity theft. Make sure that you are dealing with a legitimate company before you give all of your information.

Choosing a residential real estate lawyer

Prior to purchasing my first home I thought the whole thing was as basic as a buy and a sale . Boy… was I wrong. Buying or selling a home or a commercial building is a much more complex process than I ever could have imagined. First I thought all that I needed was a pile of money and a Real estate agent. That couldn’t have been any farther from the truth. As I soon discovered , some states actually require that you have a lawyer when buying or selling a home or commerical property. Who woulda thought? Some states require  that an attorney write up the purchase agreement and title search. Why else would one need a Real Estate Lawyer ? Lawyers possess a certain level of knowledge …   a certain level of knowledge …   that can be very useful when big decisions are involved. Even if your state does not require that a  real estate lawyer be involved with the dealings, that doesn’t mean you don’t need one. If you are a first time  buyer of a home  or commercial building  and you are not familiar with the process, buying any building can be quite a pain. Agreements, contracts, mortgages, confusing wording, and stacks of paper can be a hindrance. If you become frustrated and helpless ,  it  might be time to hire a real estate attorney. Beware, however, of the attorney that will try to take advantage of your lack of knowledge.

OK, so where do you start your search for a  residential or commercial real estate attorney? First, start close to home. Ask your friends, family, & coworkers if they have ever bought or sold a home  or commercial building  in your home state. Next, move on to the ever useful World Wide Web. Look for websites that offer customer submitted reviews of the residential or commercial real estate lawyers. Be sure that the lawyer your selected deals with your particular kind of type of residential or commercial Real Estate Law.

There are many types of residential  and commercial Real Estate Lawyers out there, yet only one type that will fit your particular needs.

Types of Real Estate Lawyers:
-Residential Real Estate Attorney
-Commercial Real Estate Lawyer
-Agricultural Real Estate Lawyer
-Industrial Real Estate Lawyer
-Construction Real Estate Attorney
-Enviornmental Real Estate Attorney

It’s not over when you get your lawyer . You cannot simply hand over the wheel…your presence is still required. Be sure that you remain involved with all facets of the case. Your Southern California residential real estate attorney   can’t do it without you.

Coach Your Affiliate Downline if You Want Success

Many people in affiliate programs seem to think they can stop working once the sale is made. Remember, as an Affiliate, your success is dependent upon your downline’s success. Don’t end your involvement with the close of the initial sale but stay involved with your downline, coaching and mentoring them.

People joining affiliate programs tend to have big dreams, but sometimes they fail anyway.

Reasons Why People Fail to Become Successful Affiliates:

There are three main reasons why people fail to adapt to change, especially technological change:

  1. Lack of Skills
  2. Lack of Knowledge
  3. Fear

Adopt the “Coach” Role & Mindset:

If you adopt the mindset of a “Coach,” you can dramatically improve your Downline’s performance along all three lines.

When someone joins an affiliate program there is generally a fairly big learning curve to overcome – new product(s) such as the just-released MaxPro System, new technology, and virtual relationships, all of which are especially problematic if your new recruit is a novice in the world of internet marketing (or marketing in general).  There’s so much to learn when you first start as an internet marketer: new jargon, tools and techniques, plus you have to learn the product itself.

New recruits can get very frustrated til they’ve mastered everything they need to learn, if you don’t help them through that initial learning curve.  In fact, it can become so frustrating that many of these new affiliates will simply drift away, and never do anything to add to your bottom line.

Wouldn’t you be a lot better off to spend a little time with your new Downline members helping them to get off to a good start.  Take the initiative to help your recruits learn about your products, technical support and other resources available to them.

You’ll also need to spend time helping them learn how to market in this new Web 2.0 world of internet Blogs and Social Communities, which are new to many people.

Don’t just sit around waiting for your downline to contact you for help, take the initiative and offer them help, especially at the beginning of your relationship with them.  Fear is a major obstacle, especially buyer’s remorse – your personal involvement will go a long way to overcoming your new recruit’s fear.

Coaching is realy just an attitude and a desire to build up the other person coupled with proactive behaviors on your part.  You will gain substantially from this small investment of your time and your commitment to be a Coach for your Downline team members.

A very good place to start for gleaning all the rest of the education about internet marketing that they’ll need is to have them enroll in the Online Success for Beginners course.
