When it comes to making money online the newbie can easily get overwhelmed with all of the jargon, and the technical aspects of setting up a website, but the beauty of getting started with Adsense and WordPress is that they are both free and easy to use. Inside of a day (after your Adsense account gets approved) you can begin making money.

All you need is an Adsense account, which you can get for free from Google. The next thing you will need is a domain name, and a web hosting account which offers cPanel. Now, the domain name and web hosting account are not free, but they are very inexpensive and having your own domain name makes your site look more stable and professional to both the search engines and to your prospective customers.

Once you get your hosting account set up and point your domain name to that account, log into to your hosting account and do a quick, one-click installation of WordPress using Fantastico script installer on cPanel.

You will need to choose a good AdSense ready WordPress theme for your blog. There are several available both free and premium. Choose one and upload the theme to your blog through the WordPress dashboard.

The next thing you will need is content. You need a topic or a niche to begin blogging about. Choose a niche that has a higher CPC so that you will be able to generate income a bit faster. The way to figure out the cost per click of the various keywords is to visit the Google keyword tool and do some searches on your prospective keywords. You will quickly notice that some keyword phrases have a much higher CPC than others. Choose the ones with high CPC, good search volume, and yet not insanely high competition. Finally, you will use those keywords that you selected and start creating your content. You can write short, punchy, descriptive blog posts that answer visitor’s questions and provide valuable information. Creating or re-posting short videos is a good way to attract visitors and get them to stay on your blog longer. The ads that Google will place on your site will fit into the context of the keywords that you have chosen, so choose them carefully.

The best way to generate AdSense income is to create several niche blogs with your AdSense code embedded on them. The more blogs and the more content on those blogs, the higher your earnings will be. You’ll want to create a system for cranking out these blogs quickly and then moving on to the next one. If you can create 30 blogs that generate $5 per day, then those blogs will generate $4,500 per month. This income will vary a bit from month to month depending on the nature of the topic, but that’s not too bad when you think about the fact that it’s all passive income.

Many people in affiliate programs seem to think they can stop working once the sale is made. Remember, as an Affiliate, your success is dependent upon your downline’s success. Don’t end your involvement with the close of the initial sale but stay involved with your downline, coaching and mentoring them.

People joining affiliate programs tend to have big dreams, but sometimes they fail anyway.

Adopt the “Coach” Role & Mindset:

When someone joins an affiliate program there is generally a fairly big learning curve to overcome – new product(s) such as the just-released MaxPro System, new technology, and virtual relationships, all of which are especially problematic if your new recruit is a novice in the world of internet marketing (or marketing in general).  There’s so much to learn when you first start as an internet marketer: new jargon, tools and techniques, plus you have to learn the product itself.

New recruits can get very frustrated til they’ve mastered everything they need to learn, if you don’t help them through that initial learning curve.  In fact, it can become so frustrating that many of these new affiliates will simply drift away, and never do anything to add to your bottom line.

Wouldn’t you be a lot better off to spend a little time with your new Downline members helping them to get off to a good start.  Take the initiative to help your recruits learn about your products, technical support and other resources available to them.

You’ll also need to spend time helping them learn how to market in this new Web 2.0 world of internet Blogs and Social Communities, which are new to many people.

Don’t just sit around waiting for your downline to contact you for help, take the initiative and offer them help, especially at the beginning of your relationship with them.  Fear is a major obstacle, especially buyer’s remorse – your personal involvement will go a long way to overcoming your new recruit’s fear.

Coaching is realy just an attitude and a desire to build up the other person coupled with proactive behaviors on your part.  You will gain substantially from this small investment of your time and your commitment to be a Coach for your Downline team members.
