If you’ve got a Facebook fan page or company page you want to attract more fans so that you can get more exposure for your brand, product or service, but attracting new fans can be a challenging process if you don’t have a strategy in place. Here are five tips that you can try when you want to not only attract more fans, but boost engagement on your fan page.

1. Put a Facebook fan box on your blog or website

Announce your fan page on your blog when you first launch it, and then continue to remind your readers that you have a fan page by linking to it where appropriate. Add a fan box to your blog’s side bar where your visitors can easily click the ‘like’ button and join your page without logging in to Facebook.

2. Add a link to your fan page from your Facebook personal profile

3. Encourage engagement in your fan page status updates
