With all of the other issues that business people must concern themselves with, why should you worry about your website’s page rank? In this article we will explore the relevance of page rank, and what you can do to increase yours if it is lower than you’d like for it to be.

What’s so important about page rank?

Page rank refers to where your website falls on Google’s scale of 1-10 for measuring the relevance and authority of a website. The higher your website ranks in the search engines, the closer your site will be to the top of the search engine results page. When a user types in your primary keywords into their favorite search engine, your ultimate goal is for your site to be at the top of the results that the user sees. Not many people will continue to look beyond the first page of search results, and most people will choose from among the top three results.

The actual algorithm that Google uses to rank the billions of websites across the Internet are top secret, there are some factors that SEO experts, through lots of testing, trial and error have been able to figure out. The trick is that as soon as a search engine begins to detect that people are figuring out the rules and gaming the system for their own benefit, that’s the time when they make a big change and make everyone go back to the drawing board.

On-page SEO factors

Since about 90% of the traffic that comes to your website is coming directly from the search engines, your goal is to do all that you can to optimize your site so that it appears as close to the top of the search engine results page as possible. There are some things that you can do, such as make sure that all of the on-page SEO factors that are within the realm of your control are as they should be.

These are just some of the factors that you can control, and that will help make your site more attractive to the search engines:

• Domain name

Are there keywords in your domain name?

• Keyword optimized content

Your website’s content should utilize a keyword density that is consistent with other high ranking websites within your industry.

• Title tags

Use keywords in your title tags

• Page names

Use your keywords in your page names

• Meta tags

Use your keywords in your meta tags

There are countless other factors such as the linking structure of your site, your use of anchor text links, cross-linking within your site, your use of images, etc. As mentioned earlier, the major part of search engine rank is influenced by off-page factors chief among them would be the number and quality of inbound links. The reputation, age, topic, authority, and link popularity of sites that link to you matter as links can pass page rank from one site to another. There are those ‘no-follow’ links that do not pass rank, however, they are still links and people can still follow them.

Many have asked me how I have managed to turn things around so quickly. How I have been able to go through tremendous financial turmoil this past year and yet turn things around in a six month period. So in this article I will share with you my “secret” – the power of just one little word.  Now PPL Blastoff was not the business I was promoting at the time, but this principal applies to any business.

There is nothing super special about the word – in fact, you will probably be disappointed – but truly understanding it will make all the difference in the world. The power lies not in the word itself, but in the process of truly internalizing and knowing the definition of the word and realizing just how truly fundamental it is.

Now as I prepare to introduce this concept to you, many will dismiss what I’m saying – that’s okay, this article is not for you. But for those of you who are humble enough to learn from someone who has been there and has pulled himself up into a six figure income earner in just a short six months, for you, I ask that you go somewhere quiet and re-read this article several times. I suggest you print this. Re-read it many times over and allow it to “sink in” so that you can transform your mindset in a blink of an eye.  Whether you are promoting Blastoff PPL or any other product (MLM or not), you have to grasp this concept.

We have been taught from an early age that things have to happen slowly, that slower is better (ever heard the story of the Tortoise and the Hare?), but I’m here to tell you that the exact opposite is true. All of this can change rapidly, you can completely transform your life in an instant, but you must be willing to challenge some of your long held beliefs (read – “limitations”).

You see the biggest changes we can make come from within. Those changes involve redefining your fundamental belief systems and those changes can transform you in an instant, removing decades of self-imposed limitations. When it happens for you it will be as if you have been seeing in black and white all of your life and someone instantaneously shows you how to see in color for the first time. Suddenly limitations and fears just begin to melt away.

The word that I want you to redefine is the word “decide”. Doesn’t seem so special, right? But there is something that you must understand. If you research the word to its original roots, the word decide literally translates “to cut off from all other possibilities”.  Re-Read that last sentence about 10 times – seriously, go back and reread it and think about what you’re reading. Think of the power that comes from a true understanding of that one little word. Think about just how much different your life could be form this day forward if you were to just totally embrace this one little word. Did you stop and go back to ponder that for a minute? If not, you’re missing the point and you will likely not get anything out of this article.

“To cut off from all other possibilities”. Can you imange what might happen if you simply decided to treat your home business like a real business rather than just your hobby?  How would that make a difference for you? What could happen if you simply decided that NOW was your time to change? What if you decided that you were no longer going to allow fear, complacency and procrastination to dominate your life? What if you decided to make today the first day of a new level of truly living your life rather than merely going through the motions?  PPL Blastoff doesn’t have to be your decision, maybe it is another program you wish to promote, but one way or another you must “decide” to move forward with massive action and resolve.

You see that magical day came for me because I finally decided that I deserved better out of life and I decided to take action. It is my hope for you that you will be able to embrace this simple little word and DECIDE to make a difference in your life as well.

All this free stuff from Frank…wow… thanks, but the question is will people continue to pay Frank his monthly fee for getting all this free stuff. Will I stick with Frank’s Monthly Mass Control…. Like those little twirling glasses you see on Family Guy that Stewie uses for mind control, Frank owns a paid of those. And if I don’t make more money I won’t blame Frank Kern I will only blame myself. How can anyone that surfs everyday in La Jolla not know what he’s doing? I live in San Diego too, but heck he’s richer, better looking, has really cool hair and fashion sense, talks nicer, has a hotter wife, and walks on water. Heck I really respect the guy….so yes I’ll stick with it.
