Group Business Coaching vs. One on One Coaching: Two Different Approaches for Success

Group Coaching

A business coach works to create a partnership with you, the client, in an effort to focus on supporting you in achieving your goals and objectives.

Business coaches work with people in a Group coaching or a one on one basis. Here are some of the ways in which the two approaches differ. Each has their own strengths. You choose the approach that you think will be the best for your needs.

In a group coaching environment, the coach facilitates the common needs of the group rather than focusing in on one individual’s needs. In a group coaching session, there can develop a group synergy and energy where members share their experiences and learn from the experiences of other members of the group.

The group coaching environment can foster the development of business relationships among the members who can support and encourage one another.

Group coaching can be more cost effective as it tends to be lower than the one on one pricing plan.

One on one coaching is when the business coach focuses their attention on you as an individual. The focus in this arrangement is to customize the work to help you as an individual achieve and even exceed the goals you have set for yourself.

One on one coaching is flexible and you work with your coach to define the sessions, and the method of delivery, be it in person, over the phone or through email.

Whether in person or over the phone, these coaching sessions are geared towards exploring what is important to you, uncovering those barriers to effectiveness, and helping you to clearly define what you want so that you can focus your effort and attention on achieving your goals.

An effective business coach will help you to shift out of your comfort zone and expand your vision of what is possible.

What successes have you enjoyed in your business as a result of working with an online business coach?
