Profiting From Tangible Products

I have been working since 2002 trying to figure out the best way to make money on line. Without a doubt an online business seems to be incredibly simple on the outside looking in, but in reality it may be one of the most difficult arenas to make a living in. Why, because the low cost of entry makes it simple for anyone to try, and the hype of most online marketing programs seldom live up to reality. Thus a lot of people try to make easy money, get rich and retire, but the vast majority fails. In short, it is more difficult than it looks.

If you are looking for a quick way to sit back and make a lot of money, good luck, but if you are willing to take the time to develop a real business and follow through, it is very possible, and even likely to make a great living just working on your computer from home. Now I know you’ve probably read dozens of articles that have said pretty much the same thing, the difference is I my advise is based on something you already trust. So how did I find the success the eludes so many other online businesses.

I take a daily methodical approach of finding products, developing sites and systems to market them and then I out source all the day-to-day mundane task of building the business. I am writing this article, but most of my various pennames and articles are outsourced to writers that take care of my article marketing, and most of my daily posting of tangible products and contents into my various sites and blogs is outsourced as well. Every day I make sure these activities happen and I plan on what to do next.

In the beginning I did everything myself and I discovered it was very easy to sell a book, guitar, or a camera and very difficult to sell information. I know people that make millions selling information, I just was not good at doing it, and most people are not. The cool thing about selling tangible products is people TRUST the products and the advertisers I sell for. All I need to do is attracted traffic and act as a funnel to drive this traffic to my advertiser websites. Affiliate marketing is simple when you look at it in this manner.

So I focus on tangible products and simple traffic techniques. To make life easier I use blogs to market these tangible products. My hosting account allows me to install WordPress with a push of a button, so my cost and efforts are minimized. I pay for a hosting account, domain names and that is about it. Simple and effective. I do not use PPC, traffic exchanges, SEO management, keyword research, linking tools or any other fancy marketing techniques.

Selling tangible products for a profit is the easiest and most full proof method I’ve found to make a consistent hassle free income online.
